Overview

The Kurt PT800A Series II is a high-precision, "Pull-Type" milling vise designed for heavy-duty machining where maximum rigidity and minimal jaw lift are critical. Unlike standard "push-type" vises, the pull-type design reduces stationary jaw deflection by pulling the movable jaw toward the operator, significantly improving clamping accuracy and repeatability.

As part of the Series II lineup, the PT800A features a precision-ground body on all sides, allowing it to be mounted upright, on either side, or even back-to-back for high-density setups. It is a staple in CNC and manual toolrooms for "hogging out" material while holding "tenths" tolerances.
