Taricco 9’ x 20’ Aerospace Composite Autoclave

This 1999 Taricco Autoclave is a high-capacity, "tier-one" industrial asset engineered for large-scale aerospace composite bonding. With a massive 108” Internal Diameter and 240” Depth, this system is designed for the high-pressure, high-temperature curing cycles required by Boeing, Airbus, and DoD-level contractors.

Unlike older legacy units, this machine has been upgraded with a modern Windows-based TCS (Thermal Control System), providing a "fly-by-wire" digital interface that ensures full compliance with modern data-logging and part-traceability standards.

Key Performance Features

Mechanical Superiority

Featuring Taricco’s signature forged locking ring and non-rotating door closure. This design eliminates the scuffing and premature wear of door seals found in rotating-door models, significantly reducing maintenance costs and vacuum leak risks during high-pressure cycles.

Upgraded TCS Windows Controls

The original 1990s controls have been replaced with a dual-monitor Windows TCS interface. This upgrade allows for complex recipe management, real-time telemetry, and automated control of pressure, temperature, and vacuum levels.

High-Density Vacuum Manifold

The unit is equipped with an extensive aerospace-grade vacuum header system. High-quality solenoid valves and transducers allow for individual part-vacuum monitoring, essential for multi-part layups and complex structural bonding.

Internal Fan System

Utilizes an internally housed motor, eliminating the need for external shaft seals. This design removes a common failure point and ensures a more consistent vacuum seal throughout the entire curing process.

NOTES:

This unit was fully functional when taken out of service in 2023. It was professionally decommissioned, rigged and transported to the current location. In May of 2025 the vessel underwent a full magnetic inspection supervised by Taricco at our facility and passed for reconnection and commissioning (report is available).
